Golf Industry Status Poll

A poll to understand the Golf Industry Status

We've heard on the news, from our leaders, and health organizations getting out of the house to walk and exercise is a good thing.  Keeping our social distancing.  Golf covers both of these.  Obviously we still have to take pre-cautions in cleaning and maintaining operations.  Guidelines are provided by various industry resources such as the National Club Association.

Golf Industry Poll

We created a simple poll so everyone can quickly see the current status.   The poll asks the following questions:

  • Type of Business (Range, Golf Course, Country Club, Instructor, Junior Program)
  • Are you open or closed
  • Location

Results

The results are shared on our websites and include a US map to display open/closed status along with charts providing an overview of the data.

We ask you share this with others as the more data we have, the better we all can be informed.  If you have not taken the poll yourself, please click here.

Poll Notes

We ask for your email address so you will be able to update your response when things change in the future.  Once you complete the survey, an email will be sent to you with your responses and the link to update.

Customer Experience - how The Golf Target helps

Customer Experience

How do you choose where to spend your time and money?  I spend my time and money where I get the best customer experience.  My friends and family do as well.

So what customer experience are you creating?

During our discussions at the 2020 PGA show, we heard a lot of clubs and ranges under going remodeling.  Others are looking for ways to compete against "Entertainment" ranges.  Adding the Golf Target to any range creates an experience challenging for new and experienced golfers.

The Golf Target

The Golf Target is great way to add value to your customers experience.  First,  you can't miss it.  Secondly, it challenges golfers of every age and ability.  Try consistently hitting a 48" target 25 or 50 yards away.

Average Golfers

The average golfer hits the range wanting to improve their game.  I include myself in this category. The goal is to be consistent and be able to enjoy the game when on the course.  The Golf Target challenges us, provides a focal point, and give us feedback that a flag-stick or net can never do.

Attracting New Golfers

How are you attracting new golfers?  We've heard from a number of professionals believe new golfers may come from "Entertainment" type ranges.   We don't have enough data but the logic makes sense.  Being outside with friends while attempting to hit a golf ball at a target to score points is an enjoyable experience.

Having The Golf Target on your range allows players to feel comfortable aiming at large object, similar to the "Entertainment" range, yet giving them the experience to track their ball to an area more realistic to a course.

Bottom line, Todd invented the Golf Target to provide value to ranges, courses, instructors, and golfers alike.  We do believe your customers experience will change.

Let us know how your customers experience is changing.

Social Distancing Panels

We've heard from courses all around the country how busy they are.  That of course is if your state has allowed golf to remain open.  ...
